At the request of many predator anglers, the popular RtB PIACERE series has been adapted so that the rods can now be used with baitcasting reels.
Thus, the first two models introduced in the range are the BFS (Bait Finesse System) 210cm 0.5–6g and the Baitcast 210cm 4–18g, both featuring extra-fast action blanks.
The rods are equipped with specific Fuji Skeleton reel seats, complemented by carbon elements for perfect alignment with the popular spinning series.
Sensitive, lightweight, and well-balanced, the rod features a tip with extremely fast recovery that provides perfect control over light lures designed for this power range.
The rod is built around a carbon "backbone” made of high modulus Japanese TORAY carbon (30T + 46T) with different densities and characteristics.
The combination of these two materials delivers a unique feeling of solidity and responsiveness when the rod is held in hand.
Despite its remarkably low average weight, the blank still manages to offer a strong power reserve thanks to two 45° carbon bands (CROSSxWEAVE) that further compress the blank walls along its entire length.
This partial carbon layer represents an “injection of steroids,” achieving the perfect balance between stiffness, strength, and weight.
The same modern JDM-inspired (Japanese Domestic Market) design that contributed to the success of the spinning series can also be found in the baitcasting range.
The metal components of the reel seat and butt grip are anodized in a copper tone for increased resistance.
The same metallic copper color with reflective accents is used for the wrapping thread, the TORAY name, and logo.
