The latest additions to the popular Fortezza rod series are dedicated to vertical and pelagic fishing.
These rods use the same materials and components found across the extended range, but their construction is tailored to the specific demands of these fishing styles, which have become extremely popular with the adoption of new Live technologies on next-generation sonar systems.
The main features of these rods are: excellent balance, low weight, high sensitivity, compression resistance, and strong backbone power. Since fights with fish are often aggressive and take place over short lengths of braided line, these rods must be very powerful in the second half, while maintaining a sufficiently sensitive tip to impart a natural movement to the lure.
The rod blank is made from Japanese prepreg carbon supplied by TORAY, a global leader in the field. Thanks to this premium material, the rods are lightweight and offer increased resonance and sensitivity.
The rods are constructed in two sections, with a put-over joint into the handle to reduce the risk of damage in the spigot area.
They are equipped with a Fuji ACS Low Profile reel seat, featuring a carbon nut and grip for enhanced resonance in the handle and a secure reel hold.
The SeaGuide RSOLution guides are extremely lightweight and durable, using a thin special ceramic insert mounted on a titanium frame. Compared to traditional SiC guides, these are up to 55% lighter.
The rods feature a minimalist and very elegant design. A silver-grey color has been chosen to mark the specifications and name against the black carbon background. As these are powerful rods with strong character, a sober design best reflects their identity.
